Hampden make several different rum styles - known as marks) - and the HLCF stands for Hampden Light Continental Flavoured, the distillery's flagship style, with a high concentration of congeners and esters, giving the rum intense, powerful fruity flavours.
Hampden's HLCF is a pot-distilled molasses rum, made with long, slow wild yeast fermentations and dunder. This 4-year-old has been bottled at a highly potent 60% strength and comes in a very nice gift box with two branded tumbler glasses.
