Talisker 10-year-old first appeared as part of the Classic Malts series in 1988, replacing the previous 8-year-old and 12-year-old official bottlings. 

Still bottled at its traditional 45.8% (the UK's old 80-proof), today's Talisker 10-year-old may have lost some of its predecessors' more brutal edges, but this archetypal Island single malt whisky still has plenty of dry smoke and pointy white pepper notes to keep even the most jaded of tastebuds interested. Talisker 10-year-old is a Classic Malt whisky worthy of the name.
