Tasting Notes

Nose: Nicely balanced with dried herbs, fresh fennel and subtle wood glue; develops a vanilla creaminess alongside varnished wood aromas, dried bark and furniture polish. 

Palate: Sweet initially, with brown sugar and golden syrup, then turns a little menthol with eucalyptus hints, then clove, fennel, cardamom, and black pepper.

Finish: Good length, warm but not hot. The peppery spice and dried herbs persist longest.

Comments: Plenty of flavour, very herbaceous but good balance and impressive complexity.
