Released in 2008, White Bowmore 1964 43-year-old was assembled from six ex-bourbon casks of Bowmore's 1964 vintage, making it the perfect contrast with the previous Black Bowmores, which were all from otherworldly Oloroso sherry casks filled in the same year. 

Bottled at 43 years of age, White Bowmore was the middle bottling of the second Bowmore 1964 Trilogy, which concluded in 2009 with the release of Gold Bowmore 1964, a marriage of both ex-bourbon and Oloroso casks. White Bowmore is, as you might expect, an absolute masterpiece of rich tropical fruit and fantastically ethereal coastal peat characters. White Bowmore is utterly mind-warpingly wonderful whisky, and it's a fascinating experience to taste the whole Trilogy side by side if you ever get the chance.
